Nokia 3310- The Rise of The Fallen

The king has returned

I just woke up one morning only to find rumors of the return of the indestructible Nokia 3310. It turned out those rumors were actually true. Nokia chose to add this awesome device to list of phones its  making a comeback with into the mobile phone world.

The return of this super phone can make Nokia take the lead among top mobile phone producers like Apple and Samsung because of the love people have for this phone According to many persons, this device is among the best phones in mobile phone world. When it was first released back in 2000, more than 100 million units were sold round the world. It was just like the iPhone 7 of it's generation. I think what made this phone to be a hit was it's indestructible nature. This phone literal took bullet for people. Another reason why people loved it was because of it's lasting battery and the addictive snake game it came with. Unfortunately, I never had the opportunity to own this phone back then. But Nokia just changed that.

Before Nokia released the specs of this phone, I saw some post on the internet which said this phone will be an android phone while others claimed it will be a Windows device(which would have been bad for the phone because not everyone loves windows phones). According to Nokia, the phone will run on some sort of Nokia operating system.

The new Nokia 3310 design

The display screen has been changed from its former 1.5 inch monochrome display to a 2.4 inch QVGA display screen. It won't be like the HD display of your iPhone but it will give a clear picture. Speaking of picture, Nokia decided to add a 2 mega pixel camera with LED flash(which can also be used as a flashlight) to our beloved phone. So don't dream of a high quality picture. It will just give a normal quality picture. I think most users won't ever make use of the camera.

The Nokia 3310 will come with a 2.5G connection (low camera and 2G connection, am starting to doubt if this phone will survive in this modern world) to allow users surf the internet and get access to Facebook and Twitter using an opera mini browser. In place of WiFi, Nokia added a Bluetooth 3.0. It also came with an FM radio and MP3 player. It has a 3.5mm headphone jack for MP3 playback.

It has an internal storage of 16 megabytes which I feel Nokia should have done better. Maybe 512 megabytes. 16 is just too low. To make up for the low space, Nokia added a micro SD card slot that supports up to 32 gigabytes SD card.

Our beloved snake game was not left out. Nokia upgraded the game which I hope will make it better than the former version.

What I've always loved about this phone is it's battery life and Nokia seem to have improve the battery performance. This new 1200mAh removable battery delivers up to 22 hours of talk time and when fully charged, it can remain on standby for up to a month. Your smartphone phone may disappoint you but this super phone always got your back.( I think Nokia should make use of this my line when advertising the phone)

The phone is expected to be released around the second quarter of this year and is should have a price tag of $49(£41,€50). We are all waiting......
